After the release of "Joker: Folie à Deux", Todd Phillips: "My time in the DCU is over"
The Rotten Tomatoes rating of "Joker: Folie à Deux" has now dropped to 39% freshness.
DC 's annual restricted blockbuster " Joker : Folie à Deux " (Joker: Folie à Deux), which is affiliated with DC Studios "Elseworlds" (Joker: Folie à Deux), was officially released this week. Director Todd Phillips said in an interview with THR : " My time in the DCU was all about these two works.”
During the interview, Todd Phillips was asked if there was a chance to launch a solo movie for Harley Quinn played by Lady Gaga. Todd said that would not be a movie that he was interested in, and felt that his time in the DCU would only include "Joker" Two films (I feel like my time in the DC Universe was these two films).
"Joker: Folie à Deux" currently only has a 39% fresh rating on Rotten Tomatoes and a 38% fresh rating from fans, an IMDb score of 5.5/10 and a Metascore score of 55/100. The film review performance is quite polarizing. For the author, this film can be said to be a challenging film that subverts the expectations of general movie fans and gives a shocking ending. It can only be said that the director Todd Phillips is quite bold, but whether the audience is willing to pay for it or not is a matter of opinion.
