The explicit version of 'Mayores' that Becky G and Bad Bunny did not release because it was "too strong"

Mayores became the song of the summer in 2017 due to the connection between Becky G and Bad Bunny, its rhythm and also its fiery lyrics, although it could have been even more explicit. The singer has revealed that they had a more sexual version and they discarded it for being "too strong."

Becky G and Bad Bunny in 'Mayores'

Back in 2017, some social sectors were shocked by the spicy and explicit lyrics of Mayores , the collaboration between Becky G and Bad Bunny.

Messages like 'I like them bigger, that don't fit in my mouth' or 'I last longer in bed than he does' didn't sit well with everyone, and they even asked her to change the lyrics when she went to perform that year on Operación Triunfo. Whatever the case, the single became a hit and to this day remains one of the most popular urban songs.

And what if we were to say that there is an even more explicit version ? The American singer revealed this in an interview with Nude Project , where she specified that at that time Bad Bunny was not yet "the global artist that he is today, but the Bad Bunny of Puerto Rico."

"Many people don't know it and I don't know if I still have it, but there is a version of Mayores with a very strong verse by Bad Bunny," he began by saying with a laugh, adding that "they had to change the lyrics a little."

In the end, she revealed what the controversial line was: "In your face ."The line we heard today is still iconic ," Becky G concluded.

Similarly, the singer wanted to praise her partner because they learned from each other: "I was able to find myself again in urban music and he was able to reach the more pop and mainstream world . It was such a powerful and beautiful exchange that after that he exploded."
