Implementation! Team Fortress 2 players boycott microtransactions to put pressure on Valve

For a long time, "Team Fortress 2" has been plagued by the problem of rampant robots. Recently, the game has finally alleviated some of the problems and some plug-in robots have been banned. However, players feel that this is not enough and plan to take new measures to put pressure on Valve.

The petition, titled "SaveTF2," has now closed after garnering nearly 350,000 signatures. The petition's creator said: "As of July 1, Valve has taken extensive steps to mitigate the bot crisis in Team Fortress 2. While we as a community are extremely grateful for the actions being taken, many of us feel that further steps are needed to ensure confidence in the future of the game."

With the annual July Summer Update approaching, the team behind the petition is suggesting that players boycott microtransactions in the game, thereby putting more pressure on Bethesda to take action.

"Team Fortress 2 consumers should be encouraged to adjust their spending habits and evaluate their scores based on whether these anti-bot measures continue," the petition site explains. "We recommend not investing any funds into Team Fortress 2 until the issues are resolved. Team Fortress 2 should be in a playable state until players can resume financially supporting it."
