Fromsoftware launches update to once again adjust the game balance of "Elden's Ring: Shadow of the Golden Tree"

 On July 4, "Elden Ring" released the v1.12.3 update patch, which is applicable to PS5, PS4, Xbox One, Xbox Series X | S and Steam. It mainly adjusts the expansion pack "Shadow of the Golden Tree". Balance and bug fixes.

． When the combat skill "Swift Slash" is used against other players, the power is reduced and the damage caused by the vacuum tearing the enemy is reduced.

． The weapon "Kalia Magic Sword" has an ability bonus that improves intelligence and slightly reduces the attack power before the ability bonus.

． The following weapons extend the range of throwing attacks

． When challenging the bosses "Golden Hippopotamus" and "Veteran Gaius" again, the boss's standby position will be adjusted to be the same as the position during the first challenge.

▼Correct errors

． Fixed an issue where the attack damage of the combat skill "Series Spark Incense" is higher than expected at certain times.

． Fixed an issue where the player was unable to cause damage to the enemy when activating the combat skills "Series Spark Incense" and "Four Side Spark Incense" while having certain special effects on him.

． When the following combat skills are activated with the left hand, the issue that the right-hand weapon will also apply some special effects has been corrected.

　The Weak King's Madness/Frisbee Throwing

． For weapons whose weapon type is Thrust Shield, when defending against accompanying attacks, the energy consumed when blocking enemy attacks will be corrected.

． For weapons whose weapon type is a backhand sword (except for the "Ryuugou Knife"), the problem that the first attack of a heavy attack using both hands cannot be canceled by rolling has been corrected.

． Corrected the issue where the weapons "Thunder Flask" and "Elepsy Flask" would cause double attack damage at certain times.

． Corrected the problem that when the weapon "Blood Monster Arm" is given attributes, the induction ability bonus is higher than expected; the accumulation of abnormal status gauge caused by heavy attacks and charged attacks is higher than expected.

． Fixed an issue where the faith ability bonus of the weapon "Gazeing Finger" was not applied correctly.

． When the weapon "Flame Knight Greatsword" is used against other players, the damage caused by some attacks has been corrected.

． Fixed an issue where the attack attributes of some attacks of the weapon "Fire Knight Greatsword" were incorrect.

． Fixed an issue where the attack power increased by ability bonuses for the following weapons when given specific attributes is higher than expected.

． The ashes ""Black Knife" Dixi" uses attacks that reduce the enemy's HP limit and continue to reduce HP. Fixed an issue where the enemy's HP would be restored after this effect ends.

． Fixed an issue where the summoned NPC acted incorrectly under certain circumstances.

． The boss "Golden Hippopotamus" has an undefendable bite attack, correcting the problem of easy attack judgment on player characters.

． Fixed an issue with incorrectly displayed text

▼When playing, the game becomes unstable.

． Regarding the PS5™ version, if the game becomes unstable, executing "Rebuild Database" from the safe mode of the console may improve the situation.

． Regarding the STEAM version, in some gaming environments, the ray tracing setting may be automatically changed to on, causing the screen update rate to be unstable.

＞Please go to the title screen or confirm the settings from the in-game menu: [SYSTEM] > [Screen Settings] > [Ray Tracing Quality].

． Regarding the STEAM version, when entering the game title screen and playing multiplayer, an error message "Cheating detected" will be displayed under certain conditions. If there is no cheating, the player will not be punished.

＞When restarting the game still does not solve the problem, please go to STEAM's [Collection Library] > right-click [Elden's Ring] > click [Content] > click [Installed File] > click [Verify Game File] integrity] to confirm.

． Regarding the STEAM version, it has been found that if you use applications related to mouse control, the screen update rate may be unstable. If a similar situation occurs, please pause using the program before playing again.
