Warner Bros. Officially Releases Dune 3 and Godzilla vs. Kong Sequels
They are scheduled to be released in 2026 and 2027 respectively.
Warner Bros. recently officially announced the release dates for " Dune: Part Three " and the latest sequel to " Godzilla vs. Kong ".
According to the latest report from Deadline , Warner Bros. and Legendary Pictures are planning a schedule for future film releases. Currently, Denis Villeneuve has an untitled film scheduled to be released in December 2026. The film will undoubtedly be the latest film in the " DUNE " series, "Dune 3", and the film will also be the final chapter of the series. The current progress is that the script is being written and new actors are being sought to join. It is expected to be adapted from the second work in the original novel series by Frank Herbert, "Dune Messiah".
Another work will be the latest sequel to "Godzilla vs. Kong", which is scheduled to be released on March 26, 2027. It has been confirmed that Adam Wingard , the director of the first two films in the series , will not return. The script is currently written by Dave Callaham, the screenwriter of "Shang-Chi: Legend of The Ten Rings" and "Spider-Man: Across The SpiderVerse", and will be directed by Grant Sputore, the director of "I Am Mother".
